I have a feeling that those two will say hi to each girl just to look at their profile on their phone! XD

  2. Sheela dit :

    Heh, a Catholic Vampire ?
How does that work on Sunday Mass ?

Arrgh .. sunlight …. Crosses everywhere … someone pelase invite me in, I can’t enter uninvited ! :(

  3. Dr J.W. Müller dit :

I assume that since she is still good, crosses don’t harm her, and Dracula was able to walk outside at daytime in Bram Stoker’s novel (as well as in the film from 1992).

    • admin dit :

      And don’t forget the « i-glow-in-daylight » Edward XD

      • illyria dit :

don’t mention that fake vampire! he’s faery fag! real vampires just burn in the sun

      • Sheela dit :

        Gotta say .. vampires don’t sparkle !!

I can accept that really strong vamps being able to walk during daylight, and being weaker while doing so. The idea being, that God is a derivative of the old sun gods, then the vampires who have forsaken god will walk under the moon, deriving their power form the moon (*cuogh* Moon Elves *cough* ). It does fit better with original vampire lore.

Offcourse, Carmilla may be a converted vampire !
Working well in the sun, but loosing her powers in the night.

        But sparkling ?
        No way !

        • admin dit :

Ha ha, twilight sucks so much…But yes, i kinda agree that a strong, old and skilled vampire should be able to walk in daylight. We can see that in Anne Rice’s books or in the game « Vampire the masquerade »

          • Sheela dit :

In Bram Strokers « Dracula » he also walked in daylight, though a lot less powerful by day.

Mind you, in the film based on Bram Stroker’s Dracula (filmed by Francis ford Coppola) he starts off by blowing the box he was laying in, into smithereens. If anything, he was plenty powerful in the movie .. and properly creepy before he rejuvinated himself. And Gary Oldman was great in « old and creepy » mode … especially since his shadow had plans of it’s own. :) )

  4. Rastrelly dit :

She’s MEXICAN? Darn, I was sure she’s from Spain :)

    • admin dit :

Yeah, i already said before she was a telenovelas actress before the BSG.

      • Rastrelly dit :

Yeah, I remember that. But it was 10-60 years back, so she easily could be born in Spain :)

Remark: %PCName tries not to argue, he just was SURE she’s Spanish :)

        • admin dit :

You were not so wrong, you should be satisfied :D
Hey, next characters will be Cath and Melissa, try to guess their countries, you have one week :D

          • Sheela dit :

Melissa could be north european .. y’know, sweden or north germany for that matter.
Blonde, blue eyes, buxom. Also there’s the frankenstein reference in the cast page.
So on balance, I’m guessing german origins.

Cath just looks odd … I have no idea.

  5. Neko dit :

There’s a lot of different vampire stories. All vampire aren’t undead some are living being able to reproduce themself like human (and sometimes with human to create dhampire: half human/half vampire).
So that’s make two kind of vampires :
-the ones who ere human and convert by a vampire
-the ones who are born vampire
A powerful vampire can walk under sunlight but is weaken in doing so. But, and it’s where I’m leading you, some born vampire have a weird genetic mutation and can walk under the sun without problem or with minor loss of power. They are knows as daywalkers. They are extremly rare and hide this power even to other vampire by fear of having everyone (human and vampire alike) hunting them down.

Don’t forget there’re a lot of diferent vampire stories =^.^=

  6. Dagwam dit :

I love the characters but most of all I get a kick out of the extra level of depth she has with her name. I took a literature class in college that was focused on horror novels, and the teacher decided to focus only on vampire stories that semester (good stuff only, no Twilight, thank god). And after having taken that class I loved that you named her Carmilla.
To the uninitiated, Carmilla is one of the earliest ‘vampire’ stories written, and was one of Bram Stoker’s references while writing Dracula.

Now just have her use her acting skills to go undercover and use the alias Millarca and I’ll love you forever no homo.

    • admin dit :

In fact, this is clearly the reference, even used by the character herself, cause « carmilla » is not even her real name :p

  7. Darth Paul dit :

Just curious about her height. Does it say that she’s 5.4 ft. tall or should it be 5 ft. 4 in. tall?

  8. Awesome work! keep it up.

  9. TigerCavalier dit :

Actually, there are no African tigers.

That said, Cath is awesome enough for me not to care about trivialities like that.

  10. Spectrum dit :

You know? This is a very good opportunity to get well detailed stats of all the BSG staff! =P
